Industry Night and The Love Shack Wedding Fair

Oh, what an absolutely amazing weekend we had down in Hereford attending The Shack Revolution’s Industry Night, and promoting our collab package with Kate (I Like Pens Studio) to all the fabulous couples at the Love Shack Wedding Fair!

Now, if you’re an elder emo, such as ourselves, you might remember all that horrid anxiety we used to get as teenagers, haha. Well, it all came flooding back as we stood in a room full of the most amazing wedding suppliers in the industry.

It was an absolute honour to be able to talk to, absorb advice, and be inspired by these absolute legends.

We obviously had to have a try of the famous ‘Love Shack’ Cocktail that night too!

The Wedding fair day started off early, with a humorous breakfast with Kate in the purple palace (premier inn), before attempting to defrost the cars…..

For our stall we really wanted to utilize the beautiful table and the chance to showcase to the nearlyweds what is possible with our ‘Styled Like a Rockstar’ Package.

So we went for a classic rock n’ roll - with disco balls of course - black, pink and red theme, with STUNNING flowers provided by Carrie Newman Scott

Once we found our nerve, we LOVED talking to all of the couples and their families about different colour schemes, textures and flipping through our previous work - showing that we’re not just all about black! Haha.

The biggest hit of the day has to have been Kate’s chair accessories - as soon as we saw them we loved them. It was no surprise the other couples did also.

A big thank you to The Shack Revolution team for inviting us along to a very successful first wedding fair for them, and to Mi Kelly for capturing the day!

We love meeting new couples, PLUS, the intro meeting is FREE - so it’s a great way to ask questions, with no pressure to book us there and then.
